Hello out there in Internet podcast-downloadin’ land or wherever you are at! First off, I’m terribly sorry ‘bout bein’ so late in gettin’ my blogz/cloudz updated and all that with the latest editions of SOOMM. But now I got my act together and gottem up and am posting this at the moment. So, first off in this here posting we got last week’s show which was kinda lame coz I showed up late and ran outta time to play all the cool stuff I brought. Oh crap, a billion apologies for the supreme delay in getting this up! My Audacity was bein real dumb when I was workin on it and it took me a while to figure it out (and it’d only let me do it in mono for some reason)… and honestly I’m not too thrilled about a couple things that happened during this show: a) one of the turntable needles ate shit and died right off the bat and it took a little while to get it fixed and b) I forgot my friggin 45 adapters at home and the station only has one so that kinda messed things in terms of what I was gonna play later on…

But maybe I’m just being hard on myself for being a dumbass, so here’s the latest edition of SOOMM featuring brand new releases from Sad Boys, Spray Paint, Banque Allemande, Nothing People, & forthcoming material from Rule of Thirds and Mordecai + tons more!! and to make up for all the weird dumb crap I’m gonna finally post that mythical “Best of 2012” list I keep forgetting to. Brand new edition of Stoned OUt Of My Mind today!!! Sorry about there not being a new show/update last week, I was out of town for Thanksgiving. But now I’m back and with a ton of great new stuff to play. Great new releases from the likes of Blank Realm, Total Control, The UV Race, and more. The show ends with some great heavy psych: one track off the awesome and super-rare “Round the Edges” LP by Dark, and two by the super-heavy biker psych group Wicked Lady, with guitarist Martin Weaver being the link between the two groups. The WL material is all from a series of demos recorded between 1968 and 1972, put into two comps and released for the first time in the 90s on CD by Kissing Spell, and recently reissued on vinyl by Guerssen Records. ULTRA HEAVY PSYCH, WOW SO GOOD!!
